Who is a candidate?

Preparing your skin before a chemical peel is a crucial step to avoid any complications during and after the treatment. Failure to do so can lead to prolonged healing time and suboptimal results. To ensure that your skin is in good condition, it is necessary for your skin to be prepped with a home skincare regimen for one month before the peel is necessary. If you are a new client, please book a consultation to prepare for your first chemical peel.

What can I expect during the treatment?

A custom peel will be selected based on your skincare concerns. Two types of cleanses are performed during a chemical peel treatment. First, a pre-treatment solution is applied, which may cause a tingling sensation. Then, the chemical solution is applied either as a single layer or in multiple layers depending on the type of peel. After the treatment, post-treatment products will be applied to soothe the skin. It is important to care for your skin at home for 7 to 14 days as the results depend on your post-treatment care. Light to heavy flaking may occur for up to a week after the peel.
